Meet the Team

Karen leads The Terraces Orleans as Administrator, bringing over 20 years of healthcare experience and a deep commitment to providing exceptional care for older adults. She holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in healthcare management and a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. With a diverse background across the healthcare continuum, Karen is passionate about creating compassionate, resident-centered communities where dignity, quality, and meaningful engagement are at the heart of care.
Her dedication to memory care is also personal. Karen’s mother lives with Alzheimer’s disease and being part of that journey has deepened her understanding of the challenges families face. Karen is proud to serve the Cape Cod community, and outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs, enjoying all that the Cape has to offer.

Lorene is the Director of Nursing at The Terraces and has been part of the team since 2024. She enjoys watching staff and residents connect and share moments of laughter and believes that when staff feel happy and supported at work, they are able to provide the highest level of care. Lorene values the unique environment at The Terraces and the organization’s strong focus on staff morale and exceptional resident care and takes pride in being part of such a dedicated team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting the beach – especially sunset walks at Cold Storage Beach – and resides in Dennis with her husband and son, with her mother living nearby.

Amy is the Assistant Director of Nursing at The Terraces and has been a dedicated member of the team since 2022. She values the close, family-like atmosphere shared among residents, staff, and families, and takes pride in the compassionate care and meaningful work done each day. Amy resides in Brewster with her two college-aged daughters and her Newfydoodle, Stella.

Susan is the Social Worker at The Terraces and has been part of the team since 2023. With more than 25 years of experience in short-term rehabilitation, hospice, and long-term care, she values the one-on-one time she spends with residents and their families, as well as the quality of care and dignity shown to residents each day. Susan appreciates the fun, supportive environment at The Terraces and the strong sense of teamwork among staff. She resides in East Sandwich and enjoys spending time with her two grown children, Brian and Meagan, their spouses, and their four shelter dogs, along with making summer memories with her extended family and many cousins.

Donna is the Business Office Manager at The Terraces and has been part of the team since 2024. She enjoys supporting her teammates with personnel and benefits needs while also working closely with residents and their families. Donna finds joy in spending time in her yard, being out on the water with her family, and singing. She resides in Centerville with her husband.

Dennis is the Director of Activities at The Terraces and has been a valued member of the team since 2022. He finds the greatest joy in connecting with residents, believing that every interaction and conversation helps build meaningful relationships. Dennis especially enjoys watching residents thrive in the small, intimate setting that makes The Terraces so special, and he values being part of a supportive, dedicated team. He resides in Wellfleet with his husband and their three rescue dogs, and in his free time enjoys walking Cape Cod beaches, hiking the dunes, volunteering at a nonprofit thrift shop in Provincetown, and watching classic cinema.

Bob serves as the Food Service Director at The Terraces, leading the Dietary department with a passion for creating personalized, enjoyable dining experiences for every resident. Since joining the team in 2024, he has focused on customizing meals to meet individual preferences and needs. Outside of work, Robert enjoys hiking, gardening, and trips to Disney World. He lives in South Dennis with his wife, Christine, and their dog, Glenfiddich

Jennifer is the Community Marketing Liaison at The Terraces and joined the team in the fall of 2025. She brings a background in education, advocacy, and fund development within the rare disease community and holds a master’s degree in education. Jennifer enjoys working alongside the caring staff, getting to know residents, and especially loves highlighting the positive moments and activities happening throughout the community, both in person and on social media. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, walking, and spending time with her family, and resides in Yarmouth Port with her husband, two teenage sons, and their labradoodle.

John is a member of the Maintenance team at The Terraces and joined the organization in 2024. He plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the community and helping maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. John resides in Sandwich.

Nataiane’s priority is to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment that residents are proud to call home. She takes great pride in knowing that her work in organization and cleanliness positively impacts on the health, comfort, and well-being of everyone there.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active at the gym, and spending time with friends. She also values quiet moments with her family and her pet.

Danielle values the opportunity to provide quality care and meaningful time with residents and their families, and especially appreciates the strong, supportive team she works with each day. Danielle also enjoys the unique experience of working with her daughter, who is part of our Activities Department. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, photography, and spontaneous road trips. She resides in Eastham.
